At Dripcheck Inc., we value your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Dripcheck mobile app and services.
By using Dripcheck, you agree to this policy.
1. What We Collect
- Photos you upload or capture in-app
- AI-generated wardrobe analysis and style profile data derived from your uploaded photos
- Style preferences and app activity
- Calendar event details (if linked for outfit planning)
- Device information (e.g., model, OS version, app crash data)
- Account info (name, email, login credentials)
- IP address and general location (for analytics and security)
We collect this data to operate, maintain, and improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide features like your digital wardrobe, outfit planning, and AI-powered style assistance
- Analyze uploaded outfit photos using AI to build a personalized wardrobe profile
- Use your stored wardrobe data to power contextual responses in the Ask Dee AI feature
- Improve performance, security, and personalization
- Send notifications or updates related to your account
- Understand style preferences and trends (in aggregate only)
AI-Powered Features
Dripcheck uses artificial intelligence to analyze outfit photos you upload in-app. When you upload an outfit, our AI processes the image to identify clothing items, styles, and wardrobe attributes. The results of this analysis are stored securely in your account profile and are used to give our AI assistant, Dee, personalized context about your wardrobe when you interact with her.
What this means in practice:
- Your uploaded photos are processed by AI to generate structured wardrobe data
- That data is stored in a secured database linked to your account
- AI analysis is performed by trusted third-party AI providers who are bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements and are required to meet Canadian and international privacy standards
If you delete your account, all AI-generated wardrobe data and stored images associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems.
3. What We Don’t Do
- ❌ We never post on your behalf
- ❌ We do not sell or rent your data
- ❌ We do not use your photos or wardrobe data for advertising or external commercial purposes
- ❌ We don’t access your calendar, photos, or camera without explicit permission
4. Who We Share With
- Trusted service providers (e.g., cloud storage, analytics) under confidentiality agreements
- AI processing providers used to analyze outfit photos and power in-app features (such as third-party language and vision model providers), who are contractually required to handle your data securely and in accordance with Canadian and international privacy standards
- When required by law or legal process
- As part of a business transaction, ensuring your privacy rights are preserved
We never sell your personal information.
5. Your Rights and Control
- Access or correct your account information
- Request deletion of your data, including your AI-generated wardrobe profile
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent or change permissions in your device settings

6. Data Retention
We keep your personal data — including your uploaded photos and AI-generated wardrobe analysis — only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. If you delete your account, we will remove your data from active systems as described in Section 6A below.
6A. Account Deletion
Users can permanently delete their Dripcheck account directly within the app. Upon confirming deletion, your account will be immediately deactivated, and you will be logged out. All associated personal information — including uploaded photos, outfit data, AI-generated wardrobe analysis, and linked account details — will be permanently removed from our active systems.
Once deletion is complete, your account and data cannot be recovered.
7. Data Security
We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data. Your wardrobe profile and AI-generated analysis are stored in a secured database accessible only as needed to deliver your in-app experience. However, no system is 100% secure.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as laws evolve or features change. You will be notified of major changes via email or in-app alerts.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and applicable federal privacy regulations (including PIPEDA).
